Abstract

Early childhood education is a crucial stage in character and personality development, including the instilling of moral and religious values. This study aims to examine the implementation of the storytelling method in instilling moral and religious values ​​in early childhood in early childhood education institutions. The study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type, involving observation, interviews with teachers, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results showed that storytelling was implemented systematically through the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. This method is effective in instilling moral values ​​such as honesty, responsibility, and discipline, as well as religious values, including understanding the concept of divinity and the habit of prayer. Storytelling can also increase children's emotional engagement, attention, and enthusiasm during learning. Thus, storytelling can be an effective, enjoyable, and relevant learning method for instilling moral and religious values ​​in early childhood.
